Kanakadhara, founder of Initium Partners, is a leading expert in M&A with 20+ years of experience in financial due diligence, business restructuring, and transaction support. A Chartered Accountant with a master’s from Manchester Business School, she previously worked with KPMG. Renowned for her strategic insight, analytical depth, and excellence, she specializes in advising early-stage companies on structured fundraising, financial optimization, and process implementation, ensuring sustainable growth and value creation.
Outside of work, Kanakadhara is a passionate traveler, an avid golfer, and a fitness enthusiast. She enjoys exploring new destinations, perfecting her swing on the golf course, and maintaining an active lifestyle
Abbas Unjhawala
Abbas is a results-driven M&A professional with 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial due diligence, and valuation. A Chartered Accountant (CA) and ACCA-qualified professional, he specializes in delivering tailored solutions across diverse industries and international markets. Abbas also provides virtual CFO services, ensuring seamless finance and accounting management. As a visiting faculty for Auditing and Assurance, he is passionate about mentoring aspiring chartered accountants.
Outside of professional pursuits, Abbas enjoys sketching, gardening, and exploring new destinations. He is also a skilled table tennis player and an avid swimmer, always seeking new challenges both in and out of the water.
Leya Mary Manu
Leya is a Chartered Accountant with over 7 years of experience in due diligence, management consulting, and CFO support services. She has built a strong expertise in providing strategic financial guidance to businesses across various industries, including E-commerce, Fintech, IT, Manufacturing, and Retail. She focuses on delivering practical, tailored strategies with a solution-oriented approach.
Outside of work, she is passionate about experimenting with new cuisines, baking, and gardening. She also enjoys long drives to explore new places, with music as her perfect companion, adding a sense of adventure and relaxation.
Mahathy Jagadeesan
Mahathy has 6+ years of experience in financial due diligence, having worked on 15+ deals across various sectors, including Healthcare, Ed-Tech, and Med-Tech. She also has strong expertise in CFO advisory across industries such as E-commerce, Publishing, and Food & Beverage. Her expertise lies in assessing financial health, identifying risks, and providing strategic insights to drive informed decision-making in complex transactions.
When not busy working the deals, Mahathy loves traveling, trekking, and exploring diverse cuisines. She is also passionate about the arts, finding inspiration in music and culture.

Yash is a finance professional with a solution-driven mindset, a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience in CFO and Deal Advisory. He specializes in financial due diligence, management consulting, statutory audit and compliances, and transaction advisory, with M&A advisory experience spanning ERP consulting, startup manufacturing, healthcare, exam security services, medical equipment, sub-assembly manufacturing, OEMs, and franchise supermarkets. His CFO advisory expertise extends across e-commerce, boutique manufacturing, retail trading, restaurant & hospitality, franchise supermarkets, technology and digital consulting, and EdTech, where he provides financial guidance and process optimization.
When Yash isn’t busy tailoring solutions to clients, he enjoys traveling, trekking, and engaging in community activities. A sports enthusiast, he actively plays cricket, football, and table tennis. Fascinated by astronomy, he hopes to launch his own podcast, blending insightful discussions on finance, business, and his diverse interests.
Mohamed Abubakkar Siddique
With over 20 years of experience in finance, Mohamed specializes in fixed asset management, accounts payable, and tax compliance. Holding an MBA in Finance (First Class Honors), he has worked across industries including auto-component manufacturing, FMCG, hospitality, and IT. He has successfully managed fixed asset portfolios, including physical verification and audit support for a publicly listed auto-components company. Additionally, he has handled financial reporting for a U.S.-based healthcare company and ensured statutory compliance in retail and hospitality sectors
When not managing numbers, he enjoys playing badminton and carrom.
Dilip Kumar
Dilip is a Chartered Accountant with over 2 years of experience in statutory and tax audits, working across sectors such as debt-listed NBFCs, manufacturing, and software trading and services. He also has over a year of expertise in CFO advisory, providing strategic financial insights to clients.
Beyond work, Dilip is deeply committed to animal welfare, dedicating his time to caring for unwell stray animals. A skilled athlete, he has competed in national badminton clusters and cricket tournaments, reflecting his competitive spirit and drive for excellence both on and off the field
